Why Groups Matter

Healing doesn’t happen in a vacuum—it happens in community. In groups, you get to see your story reflected in others, learn new tools together, and realize you were never as alone as you thought.

When people share space with others who get it, something shifts. Accountability feels easier. Growth feels possible. Change starts to stick.

Check out our current group options below and find the space that feels right for where you are right now.

Fresh Start Couples Workshop

  • Hit reset on your relationship with this 6 week couples EFT & Gottman-informed skills-based workshop. This workshop will be practical, interactive, and fun - we’ll learn, laugh, and even watch a few relevant clips from Mean Girls and Ted (the foul-mouthed Boston teddy bear, not Lasso).

You’ll have the chance to bond with couples who are dealing with the same relationship challenges you are. And drawing from my training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method, I’ll share tools that help you understand your relationship dynamic, communicate better, and reconnect in ways that last.

  • Week 1: Keeping the Love Alive - small changes that keep the foundation of your connection strong

Week 2: Toxic Talk - spotting the four communication habits that quietly destroy relationships

Week 3: De-escalating Conflict - calming tension before it turns into regret

Week 4: Getting Unstuck - changing the attack-defend script when every argument feels the same

Week 5: Really Apologizing - actually repairing trust so you can both move forward

Week 6: Sex & Intimacy - getting on the same page about desire and physical connection.

  • In network with Aetna and Northwell Direct, or $50 per couple per session out of pocket

  • Start date: Nov 4, 2025 or when full.

    Tuesdays 7-8:30 pm

  • Hi, I’m Sarah! I became passionate about working with couples through my own lived experience - navigating a relationship with my husband, who has ADHD and comes from a different cultural background. Those differences shaped how we each approached conflict, affection, and emotional expression. Over time, and later through my training as a therapist, I learned that real change comes from small, intentional moments of repair and connection.

This workshop is built around those evidence-based, practical tools, like how to apologize in a way that creates healing, how to recognize and respond to your partner’s bids for closeness, and how to strengthen communication even in tense moments. You’ll walk away with strategies you can use immediately to build a more resilient, connected relationship.
